The present text is grounded on the wide field of the new paradigms of conflict
resolution. Its main purpose is to contribute for the understanding of mediation in
school context, when we consider it as a socializing and learning space and also a
cohabitation community. Through a critical analysis, we want to show the
importance of the educational, pedagogical and changing potential of school
mediation. It´s also an approach to realize how it can be a way of reaching the
social dimension of education and, as a consequence, of socially developing towards
a peace culture. |
