Educação digital : um desafio socioeducacional brasileiro : um estudo de caso de uma escola de São Gonçalo

Resumo
Esse estudo tem como objetivo analisar a inserção da Educação Digital como uma prática
educacional inovadora como uma forma de potenciar o desenvolvimento socioeducacional dos
jovens estudantes enquanto cidadãos. Optou-se por uma metodologia mista, por meio de estudo de
caso simples, de uma escola do ensino fundamental, da rede privada, localizada no município de
São Gonçalo, Estado do Rio de Janeiro. Como estratégia quantitativa recorremos ao inquérito por
questionário a estudantes com a faixa etária que varia entre os 14 e os 17 anos de idade, do 2º ciclo
do ensino fundamental. Como estratégia qualitativa recorremos à entrevista realizada à diretora da
escola e a uma coordenadora pedagógica do ensino fundamental do 2º ciclo, responsável pelo turno
da manhã e turno da tarde, bem como a duas professoras especialistas em tecnologia educacional,
totalizando assim, quatro entrevistas.
Em conclusão, podemos constatar que os nossos participantes do estudo, acreditam que a
educação digital surge como uma ferramenta indispensável para o exercício da cidadania digital,
trazendo, em paralelo, novas oportunidades ao seu desenvolvimento social e ao processo de ensino
e aprendizagem. Neste contexto, a escola preocupada com a capacitação dos seus professores para
o uso das novas tecnologias, promove regulares ações de formação com tecnologia na educação.
This study aims to analyze the insertion of Digital Education as an innovative educational system and as a way to enhance the socio-educational development of young students as citizens. The surveyed were educators and students ages 14 to 17 from the fundamental education of the private school in the municipality of São Gonçalo, in the State of Rio de Janeiro. A mixed methodology was chosen, through a study to understand the importance of digital education from the perspective of professionals, using interviews from students, to know the contributions of technology in education. Study participants believe that digital education emerges as an indispensable tool for the exercise of digital citizenship, bringing, in parallel, new opportunities to their social development and in the teaching and learning process. In this context, the school, concerned with the training of its teachers for the use of new technologies, promotes regular training actions with technology in education. Among the results obtained in this study, we highlight the challenge for families and schools to offer an education in the use of technologies, more effective for young people to use the internet with more responsibility, ethics, protected from risks and virtual crimes, being protagonists of important knowledge to act in the digital society.
