E contudo a nova África redescobre
Autonomist political movements that lead to african colonial independency since the 60's didn't have the same influence in his cultural component. Most of african elite educated in metropoles ignored a significant part of their people's values and traditions. On the other side, colonising countries, since the independency, devalued these people's cultural studies (ethnographic studies, work fiel, collections 'enrichment). Colonial museums' ethnographic collections were more often than not, ignored by his possessors and didn't were even recognized by the new african leadership, becoming in this way a double forgotten patrimony.Nevertheless the new Africa rediscovers his past, valorises his traditions, and retakes many practices of consuetudinary law, inspired in african myths and rituals to express new ways of artistic production.Old collections and his possessors cannot for much longer ignore this reality. This essay pretends to introduce this question.
