Resumo
Este estudo tem como objetivo verificar a relação entre a qualidade da vinculação e o luto mediante as perspetivas acerca da morte. O estudo recai sobre a vivência do luto procurando relacionar esta com as vinculação e com as perspetivas sobre a morte.
A amostra foi constituída por 112 participantes adultos enlutados sendo que 20 são do género masculino e 92 são do género feminino com uma média de idades de 34.70 anos (DP=11.246).
Para avaliar as variáveis vinculação, luto e perspetivas acerca da morte foi aplicado um questionário sociodemográfico onde constaram as medidas Escala de Vinculação do Adulto, Prolonged Grief Disorder – 13 e Escalas Breves sobre Diversas Perspetivas da Morte.
Os resultados sugerem que tanto os homens como as mulheres têm uma visão da morte como um fim natural, sendo esta aceite por ambos pois ninguém escapará dela. Conclui-se ainda que à medida que a ansiedade aumenta, a dor emocional aumenta também. Por outro lado também foi sugerido pelos resultados que quanto maior é o conforto e a confiança menor é a dormência emocional e a dor emocional.
This study purposes to determine the relationship between quality of attachment and grief upon the prospects about death. The study is on the experience of grief trying to relate this to the attachment and the perspective on death. The sample consisted of 112 bereaved adult participants and 20 are male gender and 92 were female with a mean age of 34.70 years (SD = 11.246). To evaluate the variables attachment, grief and perspectives about the death was applied a social demographic questionnaire which consisted measures Adult Attachment Scale, Prolonged Grief Disorder - 13 and Brief Scales Several Perspectives on Death. The results suggest that both men and women have a vision of death as a natural end, which is accepted by both because no one will escape it. We conclude that even as anxiety increases, the emotional pain increases. On the other side was also suggested by the results that the greater comfort and the least confidence is the emotional numbness and emotional pain.
