As conquistas que o uso da internet trouxe para a humanidade constituem contribuições e condições de desenvolvimento social. No que se refere à educação, surge a problemática de práticas que consolidem esse conhecimento. Neste sentido, este estudo tem como objetivo analisar o aprofundamento do ensino e aprendizagem da língua inglesa através do uso da internet, como meio de troca de informação e construção do saber. Através da pesquisa bibliográfica e de campo procurou-se coletar informações sobre o desenvolvimento da prática do ensino de língua inglesa, através da utilização das TIC. Realizando um questionário objetivo, com dez questões sobre o tema, se buscou na Escola Duque de Caxias da cidade de Garanhuns analisar as perspectivas dos alunos sobre a importância desta ferramenta, na respectiva contribuição para o processo de ensino e aprendizagem da língua inglesa. Os conceitos e reflexões apontados neste estudo visam aprimorar um rol de práticas que favoreçam o ensino e aprendizagem da língua inglesa, Os resultados demonstraram que o conhecimento adquirido em sala de aula, pelos alunos comprova o aprofundamento da língua inglesa, através da aplicação do uso da internet em sala de aula. O estudo comprova que as TIC podem funcionar como uma poderosa ferramenta, permitindo ao docente encarar a perspectiva de uma pedagogia diversificada, mais ativa, diferenciada e global, através do uso das tecnologias da informação e de rede. O sucesso do ensino, através da internet, demonstra que os educadores de língua estrangeira devem estar preparados para a transformação e que os desafios que surgem, com a globalização da informação, se encontram não somente na sala de aula, mas no universo com o qual os alunos se confrontam no seu cotidiano.
The accomplishments that the use of internet has brought to humanity and conditions constitute contributions for social development. With regard to education, the problematic practices that consolidate this knowledge comes up. Thus, this work aims to analyze the deepening of the teaching and learning of English through the use of the internet as a way of information sharing and knowledge construction. Through literature research and field sought to collect information about the development of the practice of teaching English through the use of ICT. Accomplishing an objective questionnaire with ten questions on this theme, it attempted Duque de Caxias School in Garanhuns city, examine perspectives of the students about the importance of this tool in their contribution to the teaching and learning of English. The concepts and reflections indicated in this work aim to enhance a list of practices that support the teaching and learning of English. The results showed that the knowledge gained in the classroom by students demonstrates the deepening of the English language by implementing the use of internet in the classroom. The work shows that ICT can act as a powerful tool, permitting the teachers regard the more active, differentiated and global perspective of a diversified pedagogy through the use of information and network technologies.
