Uma narrativa sobre o massacre de Lisboa : a emergência do discurso de ódio nos panfletos da testemunha anônima alemã

Resumo
O objetivo desse artigo é trazer a público uma tradução inédita do alemão para o português dos panfletos da testemunha
alemã do Massacre de Lisboa de 1506. A tradução permite investigar com maior clareza a configuração do discurso de ódio a
partir de temas que emergem de sua narrativa. Com esse intento, descreve-se as diferentes edições existentes, uma vez
que o desconhecimento de sua existência levou alguns cronistas a discordar sobre algumas interpretações dos
acontecimentos. Em seguida, consideramos a construção discursiva do judeu como inimigo dos cristãos e o contexto da crise urbana lisboeta dos eventos violentos. A correlação de forças políticas entre, de um lado, o rei, a corte e alto clero e,
de outro lado, o povo e o baixo clero, definiu as fronteiras identitárias que foram sedimentadas pelo discurso de ódio que se verifica nos panfletos.
The purpose of this article is to bring a public communication of unpublished German translation into Portuguese of the German witness pamphlets of the Massacre of Lisbon of 1506. The translation allows to investigate with more clarity the configuration of hate speech that emerge from the themes of its narrative. With this intent, it is described the editions, since the ignorance of their existence led some chroniclers to disagree on some interpretations of the events. Firstly, we consider the discursive construction of the Jew as an enemy of Christians and the context of the Lisbon urban crisis of the violent events. The correlation of political forces between, on the one hand, the king, the court and the high clergy, and on the other, the people and the lower clergy, defined the identity boundaries that were joint by the hate speech in the pamphlets.
