Como referencial teórico, são abordados a teoria da vinculação, os modelos de desenvolvimento das relações românticas e a vinculação amorosa. Foram questionados135 indivíduos, com média de idades de 22.19 (DP = 1.80), sendo 20 do sexo masculino e 115 do sexo feminino e sendo que 54.5% dos participantes mantinham uma relação amorosa, enquanto os restantes se baseavam na sua relação anterior mais longa para responder às questões colocadas. Foram aplicadas, a Escala de Vinculação do Adulto (EVA), o Questionário de Vinculação Amorosa (QVA) e um questionário de dados sociodemográficos. Existem já estudos que mostram diferenças na qualidade da vinculação no jovem adulto com consequências na qualidade do desenvolvimento e adaptação, com enfâse a nível da competência social e da qualidade da relação com os pares. Com este estudo verificaram-se essas mesmas diferenças, no sentido em que o estilo de vinculação influencia a vinculação amorosa, apesar da capacidade preditora ser baixa. Valores altos na vinculação amorosa confiante associaram-se a valores baixos da vinculação ansiosa; níveis baixos de vinculação segura associaram-se a níveis elevados de vinculação amorosa confiante; e maiores níveis de vinculação amorosa confiante e segura apresentavam também maiores valores de vinculação ambivalente.The purpose of this study is the relationship between attachment and love relationships in young adults. His main goal is to ascertain in which way the quality of attachment influences that relationship. For the theoretical framework the attachment theory, the development models of loving relationships and the love attachment are addressed. The participants were 135, with an average age of 22.19, in which 20 were male and 115 females and wherein 54.5% of the participants were in a relationship, while the rest were based in their previous longer relationship. It were applied the Adult Attachment Scale (EVA), the Loving Attachment Questioner (QVA) and a sociodemographic questionnaire. There are already studies that show differences in the quality of attachment in a young adult with consequences in the quality of development and adaptation, with emphasis on the level of social skills and the quality of relationships with peers.
