Todavia, no contexto português, os estudos sobre os clientes do sexo comercial têm sido limitados. Assim, para suprir esta lacuna, a presente investigação pretendeu conhecer e analisar as suas experiências sexuais com profissionais do sexo. Para tal, através de uma netnografia, procedeu-se à análise de comentários efetuados pelos clientes de sexo comercial acerca das suas experiências sexuais publicados no fórum GP-PT.net, no ano de 2022. Verificou-se que as experiências sexuais dos clientes são vivenciadas de formas distintas e influenciadas por diferentes fatores que variam de acordo com o preço e o local da prestação dos serviços sexuais, os atributos físicos e relacionais das profissionais do sexo, assim como com o controlo de tempo efetuado por estas. Deste modo, a presente investigação ajudou a melhorar a compreensão do sujeito clientelar, possibilitado a desconstrução de mitos e estereótipos que, socialmente, persistem sobre estes. However, in the Portuguese context, studies about commercial sex clients are limited. In order to fill this scientific gap, this research aimed to understand and analyze their sexual experiences with sex workers. To this end, through netnography, we analyzed comments made by commercial sex clients about their sexual experiences published on the GP-PT.net forum, in the year 2022. It was found that the clients sexual experiences are experienced in different ways and influenced by different factors that vary according to the price and location of the sexual services, the physical and relational attributes of sex workers, as well as the time control carried out by them. In this way, the present investigation helped to improve the understanding of the client, enabling the deconstruction of myths and stereotypes that, socially, persist about them.
