O propósito deste trabalho foca-se na identificação dos diferentes fatores e indicadores que condicionam a mobilidade urbana, de forma a apontar políticas de gestão mais orientadas e eficientes para a população. Avaliou-se o sistema de transporte público e privado do Estado do Espírito Santo (ES), sob o ponto de vista da satisfação do utilizador. Desta forma, mediram-se os indicadores de satisfação, explorando alguns modos de transporte, através dos atributos: de conforto, qualidade, segurança e custo. Após submissão do inquérito e escolha dos dados foi possível, após aplicação das ferramentas estatísticas convenientes, observar importantes caracterísitcas e identificar possíveis causas para alguns dos problemas de mobilidade identificados. A utilidade do estudo é inegável como suporte à formulação de novas políticas de mobilidade, que permitam, por um lado, melhorar o nível de satisfação dos utilizadores, e por outro, dotar as autoriedades competentes das condições necessárias para definir novas políticas de mobilidade para que promovam a melhoria da eficiência do sistema de transportes do Estado ES.The study of transports has a special impact on the quality and lifestyle of the population. The purpose of this research focuses on identifying the different factors and indicators that affect on urban mobility to point more targeted and efficient management policies for the population. It was evaluated the public and private transport system from State of Espírito Santo (ES) under the point of view of the user's satisfaction. Thus, the indicators of satisfaction were measured by exploring some ways of transport by means of attributes: comfort, quality, safety and cost. After submission of the survey and data collection, and after application of the tools convenient statistics, it was possible to observe important characteristics and identify possible causes for some of the mobility problems.
