Os fatores internos baseiam-se no apoio fornecido por parte dos guardas prisionais e dos técnicos de reeducação às reclusas, pois são estes os profissionais que estão mais próximos e em contacto direto com esta população. Os fatores externos dizem respeito ao apoio familiar e ao facto da reclusa ser ou não natural da Ilha da MadeiraThe main objective of this research is to understand the phenomenon of female reclusion and the impact on processes of marital and parenting, through the study of internal and external factors inherent to the phenomenon of prison. Internal factors are based on the support provided by the prison guards and rehabilitation technicians to prisoners, as these are the professionals who are nearest and in direct contact with this population.
