Inclui vários aspetos da sexualidade e o seu enquadramento nos múltiplos tipos de religiosidade e analisa o poder do Capital e os pontos de vista da Igreja sobre o matrimónio e a repressão da sexualidade e bem assim o papel e a exposição histórica da mulher em temas fraturantes como a prostituição e a moral sexual. Conclui-se que há ainda muito trabalho a fazer acerca da elevação da mulher a um papel digno e condicente com o seu contributo para a família e para a nossa sociedade. Finalmente, questiona-se o papel e o futuro da Igreja perante a célere evolução da ciência e advogam-se sugestões para uma mudança de paradigma da Igreja face aos dogmas que impôs ao longo dos tempos.This work is aimed at analyzing Religion, Sexuality and Sin, their interconnection and their development along the History - since Pre-History to the Contemporaneity - as well as their influence in our society. It includes the review of various aspects of sexuality and their framing in the multiple types of religiousness. It also analyzes the power of the Capital and the viewpoints of the Church about marriage, the repression of sexuality and the role and historic exposure of women in rupturing matters such as prostitution and sexual morality. It is concluded that there is much more work to be done as regards the elevation of women to a respectable position which should conform to their contribution for the family and for the society.
