A espiritualidade da Companhia de Jesus e dos seus Exercícios Espirituais, as relações da Companhia com a Coroa Portuguesa e o papel de Portugal na universalização do cristianismo são alguns dos aspectos focados como espaço natural de germinação de alguns traços geniais do missionário, do pregador e do paladino da Restauração.The present study intends to contribute to a better understanding of Father António Vieira´s genius, having as base the observation of his relationship with his “cultural origins”: the spiritual, intellectual and artistic work of the Society of Jesus.
