Os objetivos foram plenamente alcançados, destacando se a adesão rigorosa aos protocolos internos, as boas relações interpessoais e a possibilidade de futura integração no futebol profissional. Entre as principais tarefas, destacam-se a colaboração com as equipas técnicas antes, durante e após os estágios; a elaboração de relatórios e vídeos de análise dos comportamentos táticos dos adversários; a discussão de sugestões para melhorar a dinâmica das equipas; e as tarefas de scouting. A análise de vídeo, que correspondeu a cerca de 85% da intervenção, foi essencial para ajustar o plano de jogo e o processo de treino, influenciando positivamente o desempenho das equipas, enquanto o scouting (cerca de 15% do tempo de intervenção), foi importante para a prospeção, análise e seleção de jovens talentos. O estudo científico focou-se nos pontapés de canto da Seleção Nacional sub-19 na Fase Final do Campeonato da Europa de 2023, recorrendo a uma metodologia observacional. Os resultados revelaram padrões e tendências que podem orientar futuras decisões táticas e de treino, melhorando a eficácia das situações de bola parada. Conclui-se que o analista de vídeo é fundamental no futebol moderno, oferecendo insights valiosos para treinadores, jogadores e dirigentes. A análise de vídeo vai além de uma ferramenta técnica, sendo um conjunto de princípios e valores que impulsionam o futebol, tornando o analista indispensável para as equipas técnicas.This report documents the experience of the trainee student in the Observation, Analysis and Scouting Department of the Portuguese Football Federation, working as a video analyst. The objectives were fully achieved, with the highlights being strict adherence to internal protocols, good interpersonal relationships and the possibility of future integration into professional football. The main tasks included collaborating with the technical teams before, during and after training sessions; the preparation of reports and videos analysing the tactical behaviour of the opponents; discussing suggestions for improving team dynamics; and scouting tasks. Video analysis, which accounted for around 85% of the intervention, was essential for adjusting the game plan and training process, positively influencing the teams' performance, while scouting (around 15% of the intervention time) was important for prospecting, analysing and selecting young talents. The scientific study focussed on the corner kicks of the U19 National Team in the Final Phase of the 2023 European Championship, using an observational methodology. The results revealed patterns and trends that could guide future tactical and training decisions, improving the effectiveness of dead-ball situations. It is concluded that the video analyst is fundamental in modern football, offering valuable insights for coaches, players and managers.
