A crescente inserção dos professores que atuam no ensino de nível técnico no desenvolvimento da pesquisa científica pode ser vista como uma contribuição para a esperada (re) significação. Deste modo, o estudo visa analisar a associação entre a pesquisa científica e a (re) significação das práticas pedagógicas no ensino técnico em saúde. A pesquisa molda-se como um estudo de caso, com abordagem qualitativa. A unidade selecionada para o estudo foi a Escola de Enfermagem de Natal, vinculada à Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte. Participaram da pesquisa 14 (catorze) professores do ensino técnico em saúde, selecionados de acordo com critérios préestabelecidos. Os dados foram coletados através de entrevistas semi-estruturadas e analisados a partir da Análise de Conteúdo. Os resultados desta análise nos mostraram que a participação destes professores na pesquisa científica vem influenciando sua prática pedagógica.The Technician Teaching Health is characterized by specificities and peculiarities, by virtue of its offer to be directly related to permanent changes in the social and political practices and yet with the innovations in the world of work, with the institutions and teachers responsible for this mode of teaching thinking strategies and tools to promote their (re) structuring. The increasing participation of teachers who work in high -level technical development of scientific research can be seen as a contribution to the expected (re) signification . Thus, the study aims to examine the association between scientific research and (re) signification of teaching practices in technical education in health. Research shapes up as a case study with a qualitative approach. The unit selected for the study was the Nursing School of Natal, linked to the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte. Participants were (14) fourteen teachers of technical education in health, selected according to predetermined criteria. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews and analyzed using the content analysis.
