Tal relação é inserida dentro da conhecida da Third Quest sobre o Jesus histórico, por meio de seu diálogo com o rabino Jacob Neusner e, a nosso ver, traz algumas contribuições de Ratzinger sobre a temática.This article aims at presenting an overview about relationship stabilished by Joseph Ratzinger between the Jesus Christ of the Faith and what he calls the Real Jesus, according his own work Jesus of Nazareth. This relationship is put inside the well known Third Quest about the historical Jesus, through Ratzinger´s dialogue with the rabine Jacob Neusner. In our perspective, Ratzinger´s work brings some contributions to this question in theological fields.
