Através do estudo individualizado da figura da fiança no regime do Código Civil e a par da confrontação com as figuras do aval e da garantia autónoma, comprometemo-nos a analisar os requisitos de forma deste instituto necessários para garantir a satisfação do direito de crédito do credor, bem como os meios de defesa ao dispor do fiador como mecanismo de desvinculação.The present dissertation aims to study the responsibilities of third parties guarantors, namely the guarantor's responsibilities as a result of the non-compliance of the obligation by the main debtor.
