Partindo daí, seguir o conceito de extrema-direita e sua ascensão junto a União Europeia, focando principalmente no Front National francês, fundado pro Jean-Marie Le Pen e que pode ser descrito como o melhor dos exemplos da ascensão da nova extrema-direita. A partir do caso francês, situou-se outros casos na UE e seus respectivos desempenhos. Após essa análise, buscou-se um pequeno histórico da formação da própria União Europeia e o quanto o Reino Unido esteve distante desse processo, até resolver integrar a UE, já no último minuto, para na primeira grande crise, já descontente, depois de uma campanha acirrada e virulenta, ser referendado sua saída. Então, num último momento, buscouse a compreensão sobre o papel da extrema-direita nesta decisão e se a sua ascensão na UE representa uma ameaça.The purpose of this paper is to draw a parallel in the question of the right and left dichotomy, their concepts and if they are still current. From there, follow the concept of the far right and its rise to the European Union, focusing mainly on the French Front National, founded by Jean-Marie Le Pen and which can be described as the best example of the rise of the new far right. From the French case, there were other cases in the EU and their respective performances. After this analysis, a brief history of the formation of the European Union itself was sought, and how far the United Kingdom was from that process, until it decided to integrate the EU, at the last minute, into the first major crisis, already unhappy, after a fierce and virulent campaign, be endorsed its departure.
