Item Prática docente dos professores de educação infantil em Jaboatão dos Guararapes-PE(2011) Azevedo, Eletice de Lima; Silva, Márcia Karina da, orient.This research work aims to investigate the conceptions of early childhood educators of Jaboatão dos Guararapes-PE, about their practices. The study used was developed in 2010 with the intention of contributing to the debate on knowledge of its practices against classes of early childhood education. The investigated population was composed of four teachers working in public schools that we call schools A, B, C and D of the municipality where they were cited intentionally selected samples with twelve teachers with five or more years of experience in teaching children from six to four years, having the same least twenty-two year career. The theoretical Vigostyano and Piaget, among others, argued that conceptions of scientific knowledge, support or significantly explaining the ideas of the interviewees. The responses from the interviews reveal a strong testimony to its practical importance and the need to change the school and classroom teaching time, lack of appropriate space for recreation and walking classes. Thus, we can detect the type of school structured to existing early childhood education, the development of classes and quality of the practices analyzed. We observed also that the teachers involved, even when they take an innovative profile, can not relate their knowledge in a comprehensive manner with the Comprehensive Curriculum municipal, or adjust them to the political pedagogical project of the school. However, efforts have shown the best way to exercise their daily practices. The study concludes that schools do not have adequate tools for better structural performance of teachers on the age group noted.
