| dc.description.abstract | A Inteligência Emocional tem-se revelado essencial para a liderança, uma vez que as empresas estão cada vez mais competitivas. O presente trabalho pretendeu analisar a por base um estudo de caso (Junta de Freguesia dos Olivais), via questionário, obteve-se uma amostra de 52 respondentes (numa população de 95) e abordam-se os seguintes tópicos: Inteligência Emocional, estilo de liderança, desempenho e motivação. Tendo em conta o conhecimento que adveio do preenchimento do questionário por parte dos colaboradores da Junta de Freguesia, foi-nos possível responder aos objetivos propostos: qual a relação da Inteligência Emocional com a liderança e como é que esta está relacionada com as tomadas de decisões, sendo as mesmas repercutidas na liderança exercida e por conseguinte na satisfação dos colaboradores, havendo uma relação direta no desempenho dos mesmos. | pt |
| dc.description.abstract | Summary Emotional Intelligence has proven to be essential for leadership as companies are becoming increasingly competitive. This paper intends to analyze the influence of Emotional Intelligence and how this it effectively acts in leadership. Based on a case study (Junta de Freguesia dos Olivais), through a questionnaire, a sample of 52 respondents (in a population of 95) was obtained and the following topics were addressed: Emotional Intelligence, leadership style, performance and motivation. Taking into account the knowledge that came about from the questionnaire filling out by the Council collaborators, it was possible to answer to the proposed objectives: what is the relation between Emotional Intelligence and leadership and how does it influence the leader’s style, translating performance of the employee. Therefore, it was verified that Emotional Intelligence influences leadership, insofar as it is related to the decision making, being the same repercussions in the leadership exerted and therefore in the satisfaction of the employees, having a direct relation in the performance of the same ones. | en |
