Reflexão sobre a situação atual das crianças e famílias em Cabo Verde : melhorias da qualidade de vida das crianças, nas famílias e no desenvolvimento do país

Abstract

Este trabalho centra-se na mesma problemática - a Criança em Cabo-Verde, as políticas de desenvolvimento, que visam a defesa dos direitos da Criança, bem como o seu bem-estar social, na família e na sociedade. Foi desenvolvido para melhor entender a situação actual das crianças, bem como a protecção que lhes é devida, umas vezes concretizada, outras, ainda não. Pretende-se conhecer o papel desempenhado pelas, Instituições Governamentais, Associações e ONGs, bem como o desenvolvimento alcançado, passados cinco anos da dissertação de mestrado, então desenvolvida com um alargado trabalho de campo, cuja metodologia de investigação assentou em inquéritos aplicados, a uma amostra, significativa, da família, crianças e professores e entrevistas, feitas a responsáveis de diferentes áreas de intervenção. Os resultados procuraram dar respostas, sobre a realidade estudada à data. Assim, faz-se uma reflexão sobre o tema, à data estudado, bem como o esforço tentado, na melhoria e protecção das condições de vida da população em geral e das crianças em particular. Nesta fase foram feitas apenas entrevistas, a responsáveis, no activo, analisadas e comparadas, extrapolando tanto quanto possível, vantagens e benefícios alcançados e respectiva evolução de vida.

This work focuses on the same issue - the Child in Cape Verde, as development policies, which aim at a defense of the rights of the Child, as well as his social welfare, in the family and in society. It was developed to improve the current situation of children, as well as protection that are due, sometimes fulfilled, others, not yet. It is intended to know the role played by Government Institutions, Associations and ONGs, as well as the development achieved, after five years of master’s dissertation, then developed with extensive fieldwork, a research methodology was based on applied inquiries, A significant sample of the family, children and teachers and interviews, made an inter vention from different areas of intervention. The results sought to give answers, about a reality studied to date. Thus, a reflection is made, better indicating a manifestation of interest on the evolu tion of the theme, to study data, as well as the effort tried, in the improvement and protection of the living conditions of the population in general and the children in particular. At this stage, the interviews, the analysis, the extrapolating as much as possible, the advantages and benefits achieved and the respective evolution of life.
