Resumo
El presente artículo tiene un doble objetivo: por una parte, contextualizar la
creciente legitimidad de la investigación biográfica en el actual escenario
social, ideológico y sociológico. Trata, además, de apostar, de manera reflexiva
–es decir, crítica– por el uso de la metodología biográfica para analizar las
transformaciones experimentadas por la Enseñanza Superior en España como en América Latina. Nuestro propósito no es hacer un examen exhaustivo de la
situación de la Universidad, sino señalar algunas mutaciones relevantes que
vienen a poner en evidencia el interés de una perspectiva longitudinal y biográfica.
The present article has a double goal: first, it contextualizes the increasing legitimacy of biographical research in the current social, ideological and sociological context. Additionally, it supports, in a reflexive way –that is to say, critically– the use of the biographical methodology to analyze the transformations experienced by the Higher Education in Spain and in Latin America. Our purpose is not to develop an exhaustive examination of the situation of the University, but to point out some notable mutations that put in evidence the interest of a longitudinal and biographical perspective.
