O imaginário e a crença extraterrestre : um estudo transdisciplinar

Resumo
Em meio a um cenário histórico-cultural de marcante relevância emoldurado por transformações sócio-políticas e ideológicas
profundas, a sociedade contemporânea vive uma era de incertezas, medo e desesperança, que a induz criar e apegar-se a
todo tipo de ilusões, crenças e utopias - anjos, deuses, heróis, oráculos, demiurgos, extraterrestres e
hierofanias - como instrumentos de fortificação contra a áspera realidade do cotidiano. A busca de identidade, a não
admissão de sua fraqueza interior e fragilidade exterior, o temor da morte e da solidão cósmica, a busca pela completude e a
impossibilidade de ser um animal transcendente o levam à angústia existencial. Este artigo traz uma análise
condensada de uma destas “muletas metafísicas” ao desconstruir o “mito moderno” através da hermenêutica e da da
transdisciplinaridade, e a reinterpretar seus símbolos, linguagens, signos e representações.
Amidst a historical and cultural scenario of striking relevance, framed by profound socio political and ideological transformations, contemporary society is experiencing an era of uncertainty, fear and hopelessness, which induces to create and cling to all sorts of illusions, beliefs and utopias – angels, gods, heroes, oracles, demiurges, extraterrestrials and hierophanies – as instruments of fortification against the rough reality of daily life. The search for identity, the non-admission of its inner weakness and external fragility, the fear of death and cosmic solitude, the search for completeness and the impossibility of being a transcendent animal, lead it to existential anguish. This paper brings a condensed analysis of one of these "metaphysical crutches" by deconstructing the "modern myth" through hermeneutics and transdisciplinarity, reinterpreting its symbols, languages, signs and representations.
