Resumo
O sistema BIM- Building Information Modeling, tem surgido como a futura solução da representação arquitetónica e da construção na última década. Esta necessidade prende-se com os intervenientes da indústria AEC entre os quais arquitetos, construtores e donos de obra, que pedem um processo que consiga conter toda a informação do edifício para uma melhor gestão e manutenção.
O BIM tem grandes possibilidades de ser o sistema que a indústria AEC procura, através da facilidade e rapidez nas alterações que são feitas no projeto, o que proporciona uma maior gestão do tempo total de trabalho e também a quantificação de todos os elementos presentes no modelo tridimensional, o que aumenta o rigor e o controlo financeiro do projeto e da construção.
Esta dissertação estuda a aplicação do Building Information Modeling em projeto, através do Software Revit@ versão 2014, tentando procurar características que possam ajudar o desenvolvimento do projeto, através do estudo das suas diferentes fases. Mesmo sendo ainda um processo com alguns problemas, esta dissertação tenta demonstrar que este sistema pode ser um forte impulsionador para toda a indústria AEC.
The BIM- Building Information Modeling process, appear as a future solution of architectural representation and construction in the last decade. This necessity comes, with the AEC industry participants, architects, constructors and owners that demand a process that can have all building information for a better management. BIM has strong possibilities to be the system that the AEC industry is looking for, with easy and faster changes made on project, and also with the parametrization of all the elements in the model, which improve the accuracy and costs of project and constructions. This thesis, study the application of Building Information Modeling on a project, using Revit@ version 2014 Software, showing the characteristics that this process can improve during the different phases of a project. Even being a process with some problems, this thesis tries to show that it can improve all the AEC industry work.
