| dc.description.abstract | As marcas da objetividade e subjetividade humana na pesquisa histórica causaram, e ainda causam, divisões no campo da historiografia. Segundo os defensores da primeira, seria a segunda, responsável pela incredibilidade com relação a veracidade dos fatos apresentados no discurso histórico, enquanto para os adeptos da segunda, ao se conceber o homem enquanto ser social e agente de diversas relações constituídas na trama histórica, o produto de suas ações deve, também, ser entendido a partir dos interesses e visões de mundo de quem os produziu. Mas até que ponto as marcas da subjetividade do historiador, presentes no discurso historiográfico, pode constituir-se instrumento de poder e dominação? O artigo em questão discute as formas de dominação embutidas no discurso histórico. O objeto de análise é o discurso do memorialista Nicodemos Araújo acerca da criação do município de Cruz, no Ceará. Debruçamo-nos sobre a narrativa construída pelo autor acerca da criação do jovem município. Nossa pretensão é a de apresentar discussões acerca da construção desse discurso, não com a intenção de encontrar uma “verdade” acerca do fato, mas de compreender o que torna diferentes, as construções historiográficas acerca de um mesmo fato. | pt |
| dc.description.abstract | The marks of human subjectivity and objectivity in historical research have caused and still cause divisions in the field of historiography. According to defenders of the first, second would be responsible for the disbelief about the veracity of the facts presented in the historical discourse, while for adepts of the second, to conceive the man as a social agent and various historical relations constituted in the plot, the product of their actions must also be understood from the interests and world views who produced them. But to what extent the marks of subjectivity of the historian, presents in the historiographic discourse, can be an instrument of power and domination? The article discusses the forms of domination embedded in the historical discourse. The object of analysis is the discourse of memoir Nicodemus Araújo about the creation of the municipality of Cruz, Ceará. We looked on the narrative constructed by the author about the creation of the young city. Our intention is to present discussions about the construction of this discourse, not with the intention of finding a "truth" about the fact, but to understand what makes them different, about historiographical constructions of the same fact. | en |
