anos (n=29). Os testes utilizados foram a Iowa Gambling Task (IGT; Bechara, Damásio,
Tranel, & Anderson, 1999), o Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA; Nasreddine e Cols,
2005) e o Minimult, versão abreviada do Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory
(MMPI; Hathaway & McKinley, 1939).
This research work aims to better understand the problems of Alcoholism, on the inter-relationship with psychiatric comorbidities, tracking cognitive functions, essential for the proper functioning of the individual. They were awarded two samples of users of the Unit Alcohology Lisbon, one with inpatients admitted in a psychotherapeutic hospital lasting 4 to 5 weeks (n=33) and another with outpatients from the hospital that after discharge are inserted in Post Alta Groups with fortnightly therapies group for 2 years (n=29). The tests used were the Iowa Gambling Task (IGT; Bechara, Damasio, Tranel, & Anderson, 1999), the Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA; Nasreddine and Cols, 2005) and the Minimult, short version of Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory (MMPI; Hathaway & McKinley, 1939). The outcome perceive a higher elevation on scales Depression, Psychopathy and Schizophrenia, with higher incidence for the group of inpatients. The tracks of cognitive functions reveals that both groups have average values below the cutoff point indicating a deficit of cognitive function and decision-making, suggests to us that when assessing alcoholics have a higher number of subjects with performance limit.
