A dimensão juspsicológica da violência no namoro: um estudo

O estudo da violência nas relações de namoro reveste-se de particular interesse, na medida em que investigações já efetuadas apontam para uma prevalência significativa entre os jovens, a existência de consequências graves para a vítima e o fato, da referida violência, ser um forte precursor da violência doméstica.
Este estudo tem como objectivo fundamental o conhecimento mais aprofundado dos tipos de violência que ocorrem em contexto de namoro, tendo como ponto de partida uma população feminina, com idades compreendidas entre os 12 e 19 anos.
Para a obtenção dos dados foi construído um pequeno questionário sociodemográfico, para permitir a caraterização dos participantes e foi utilizada a EAVN – Escala de Atitudes Acerca da Violência no Namoro.
Este estudo foi desenvolvido ao longo de diferentes fases. Num primeiro momento, procedeu-se à construção do questionário sociodemográfico e da realização de contatos com os participantes para averiguar a sua disponibilidade de participação neste estudo. Seguidamente, procedeu-se à aplicação dos instrumentos, em contexto de sala de aula. Finalmente, procedeu-se à análise estatística dos referidos instrumentos.
Foi possível constatar que algumas destas jovens apresentam sinais de já terem sido vítimas de violência no namoro, o que indica a presença desta problemática neste contexto.
The study of violence in dating relationships is of particular interest, in already made investigations there is a significant prevalence among young people, that carries serious consequences for the victim and also, the fact that violence can be a strong precursor for domestic violence. This study aims to further fundamental knowledge of the types of violence that occurs in the context of dating, taking as its starting point a female population aged between 12 and 19 years old. To obtain the data was made a small sociodemographic questionnaire, to allow characterization of the participants and it was also used EAVN - Scale Attitudes About Violence in Dating. This study was developed in different stages. At first, we proceeded to the construction of sociodemographic questionnaire and conducedt contacts with participants to find out their willingness to participate in this study. Then we proceeded to apply the instruments in the context of the classroom. Finally, we made the statistical analysis of these instruments. It was found that some of these young people show signs of having been victims of dating violence, which indicates the presence of this problem in this context.
