Resumo
Defendo, neste artigo, que a experiência
cromática aplicada ao design implica,
sobretudo, uma abordagem fenomenológica,
mas que essa abordagem coopera com o
conhecimento dos níveis mais baixos de
processamento cromático (níveis fisiológicos).
Tomam-se como base teórica as ciências
cognitivas, nas quais se considera que a
percepção é uma experiência, na qual se
considera relevante o conjunto dos estados e
dos processos que um sistema físico, neste
caso natural, apresenta quando constrói uma
representação interna daquela. Isto é, a
percepção tem uma natureza construtiva que
procura a apreensão do sentido e a consumação
do imaginário.
Consideram-se analiticamente três níveis de
processamento da informação: a descrição, a
decomposição recursiva, a incorporação física.
Destes três níveis, apenas refiro alguns
aspectos da descrição e o primeiro nível da
decomposição recursiva (o processamento
cromático ao nível da sua imagem bidimen -
sional).
In this article, I defend that the colour experience applied to design implies, above all, a phenomenological approach. This approach, however, colaborates with the knowledge of the lower levels of colour processing (physiological levels). I take as theoretical base the cognitive sciences, in which perception is considered an experience where the sets of states and processes that a physical system, in this case a natural one, presents when it builds an internal representation of it are considered relevant. In other words, perception has a constructive nature that seeks the aprehension of meaning and the consumation of the imaginary. Three levels of information processing are analytically considered: description, recursive decomposition, physical incorporation. Of these three levels, I only mention some aspects of description and the first level of recursive decomposition (colour processing at the level of the two-dimensional image). 203
