Resumo
A presente dissertação propõe uma solução para o desenvolvimento sustentável de uma
área periurbana não consolidada e de crescimento descontrolado. A proposta assenta na criação
de um plano de pormenor que define um corredor verde e serve como elemento de articulação
entre a Reserva Ecológica Natural da Praia Grande e a malha urbana consolidada de Armação
de Pêra.
Propõe-se a salvaguarda desta parcela de território, ameaçado pela especulação
imobiliária, requalificando-o como lugar que permita a interação com a envolvente natural.
Uma área que, do ponto de vista humano, reforce as interações, que incentive a valorização do
espaço natural e promova uma educação para a sustentabilidade do ambiente e do território.
Ao nível de desenho urbano, a estratégia de restruturação proposta passa, ainda, pela
implantação de uma praça e de um equipamento de médio porte. A metodologia consequente
permite a criação e articulação de diversos percursos e parcelamentos dentro da área abrangida,
polarizadas por esta nova centralidade.
The present dissertation proposes a solution for the sustainable development of an unconsolidated peri-urban area and uncontrolled growth. The proposal is based on the creation of a masterplan that defines a green corridor and serves as an articulation between Praia Grande Natural Eco Reserve and the consolidated urban network of Armação de Pêra. It is proposed to safeguard this part of territory threatened by real estate speculation, requalifying it as a place that allows interaction with the natural surroundings. An area that, from a human point of view, enhances interactions, encourages the enhancement of the natural space and promotes an education for the sustainability of the environment and the territory. At the level of urban design, the proposed restructuring strategy also involves the implementation of a square and an equipment of mid port. The consequent methodology allows the creation and articulation of several routes and parcels within the covered area polarized by this new centrality.
