O consumo da sardinha em Portugal : um consumo que visa valorizar o meio ambiente tendo em vista a taxa de regeneração

Resumo
O tema desta dissertação vem centralizada na análise do comportamento dos
consumidores da sardinha, na região da grande Lisboa, face à sua sustentabilidade, bem como
avaliar o impacto desse comportamento no intuito de mitigar respostas e mecanismos que
possam suprir tal falta. Para isso, o estudo teve como questão principal – Qual é a perceção dos
consumidores da sardinha na região de Lisboa, face à sustentabilidade na sua exploração? Para
tal, procedeu-se à realização de um questionário aplicado a uma amostra de 180 consumidores
da região da grande Lisboa. Conforme as atitudes, comportamentos e tendência das respostas,
e com auxílio de uma análise estatística de testes Qui-quadrado, foram avaliadas as
dependências e não dependências de associação estatísticas, para observar o impacto do
comportamento dos consumidores. No geral, observou-se que os inquiridos possuem pouco
conhecimento sobre o assunto, desde a biodiversidade, a sua sustentabilidade e as populações
de sardinha existentes. E é expectável que esse comportamento provoque um impacto negativo
à sustentabilidade.

The Topic of this dissertation is centered on the analysis of the behavior of sardine consumers, in Lisbon and its surroundings, concerning its sustainability as well as evaluating the impact of this behavior with the purpose of finding answers and mechanisms that mitigates the concerning gap. For this, the research question is: what is the perception of sardine consumers in Lisbon, concerning the sustainability on its exploitation? For that purpose, a questionnaire was done based on a sample of 180 sardine consumer. Relying on the attitudes, behaviors, and trends of responses, as well as with the help of statistical analysis of chi-square tests, statistical association dependencies and on-dependencies, were evaluated in order to observe the impact of consumer behavior. In general, the findings show that the inquired have little knowledge about the topic, from the biodiversity to its sustainability and the existing sardine population.
