A pesquisa
Estudo a consciência do
This work started from the desire to know more about sacred space, as the human anthropologically and historically, categorizes and differentiates space. Research has led me to other inquiries, to the human body, to the senses and to perception, to which I devote the second chapter. In the first chapter, I look to the origins of the human being, as he enters the path of myth and fantasy, to explain all phenomena, which do not have clarification, or simply to feel belonging to the cosmos and the experiential world. Here I also approach the sacred and profane space, which is fundamental for the human being, for the spaces classification and his experiences in the life of the world. I approach the use of graphic representation, such as drawing and other forms, for the human being to express what he imagines and what he experiences in his daily reality. Drawing, as a primordial language, is so important for the cognitive, spatial and psychosociological development of the human being. In the second chapter, I explore the body and the senses as the basis and vehicle for experiencing the world. As the unconscious, the emotion, the senses and the perception can determine the experience of a space. I study the material consciousness, its transformations and transmutations, and how it shapes and structures the human being. The third and last chapter is dedicated to the Ancient Nile Museum competition, which I chose as the project for this dissertation, where the entire development is documented. I also study the competition as a project tool in architecture, and the exploration of the questions that support this dissertation.
