Percepções dos técnicos de apoio à vítima sobre o apoio remoto em tempos de COVID-19

A violência doméstica é um fenómeno que ameaça a dignidade humana sendo um
problema social e de saúde pública. E para acentuar essa situação, a pandemia do COVID 19 e a insuficiente resposta da sociedade à pandemia não apenas agravou a crise de
violência doméstica, mas modificou e dificultou o atendimento fornecido pelas
instituições de apoio à vítima. Assim sendo, neste estudo, pretendeu-se aceder às
perceções dos técnicos de apoio à vítima sobre o apoio remoto em tempos de COVID 19
e, para tal, os dados foram recolhidos através de um questionário sociodemográfico e de
uma entrevista semiestruturada. Para a análise de dados recorreu-se à análise temática de
forma a explorar os dados recolhidos nas dez entrevistas realizadas. Os resultados obtidos
indicam que os entrevistados passaram por experiências de adaptação e inovação no
atendimento. No que diz respeito à experiência no atendimento remoto realizado esta é
descrita como positiva e essencial para oferecer o suporte necessário às vítimas, diante
da situação ocasionado pela pandemia. Os obstáculos mencionados pelos entrevistados
foram a falta de formação para o atendimento remoto e a falta de conhecimento por parte
da vítima no uso da tecnologia. Para as investigações futuras serão apresentadas as
implicações práticas bem como as recomendações.
Domestic violence is a phenomenon that threatens human dignity and is a social and public health problem. And to accentuate this situation, the COVID-19 pandemic and society's insufficient response to the pandemic did not only exacerbate the domestic violence crisis, but modified and hindered the care provided by victim support institutions. Therefore, in this study, it was intended to access the perceptions of victim support technicians about remote support in times of COVID 19 and, to this end, the data were collected through a sociodemographic questionnaire and a semi-structured interview. For data analysis, thematic analysis was used in order to explore the data collected in ten interviews. The results gotten indicate that the interviewees were through experiences of adaptation and innovation in care. With regard to the experience in remote care performed, it is described as positive and essential to provide the necessary support to the victims, in view of the situation caused by the pandemic. The obstacles mentioned by the interviewees were the lack of training for remote care and the lack of knowledge on the part of the victim in the use of technology. For future investigations, the practical implications as well as the recommendations will be presented.
