dc.description.abstractA deslocação, a nível mundial, de pessoas de forma forçada, tem potenciado a chegada de um número significativo de imigrantes e refugiados à Europa. Neste panorama, é desafio da Educação em Portugal dar respostas de acolhimento que incluam indubitavelmente o ensino da Língua Portuguesa, enquanto língua de acolhimento. Este estudo, de natureza qualitativa e que privilegia a estratégia de estudo de multicaso, visa a análise de conteúdo das respostas dadas a uma entrevista, por imigrantes e refugiados em formação em português. Assim, pretende-se dar resposta à questão de investigação “Quais as representações de imigrantes e refugiados, quanto aos desafios e potencialidades do ensino do Português Língua de Acolhimento (PLA), em contexto não formal?”. Os resultados deram-nos pistas para a estruturação do ensino do português língua de acolhimento a imigrantes e refugiados: i) através de uma abordagem holística que favoreça a interação e a participação dos aprendentes em práticas sociais e em diferentes contextos de aprendizagem; ii) que tenha em conta os contextos psicossociais e psicolinguísticos decorrentes da situação migratória, como as representações, motivações e atitudes face à língua portuguesa; e, ainda, iii) que se privilegie a diversidade linguística e cultural presente nos grupos de aprendizagem, através de um ensino multicultural e plurilingue.pt
dc.description.abstractThe forced displacement of people worldwide has boosted the arrival of a significant number of immigrants and refugees to Europe. In this context, it is a challenge for education in Portugal to provide welcoming responses that undoubtedly include the teaching of the Portuguese language as a welcoming language. This study, of a qualitative nature and that privileges the multicase study strategy, aims to analyze the content of the answers given by immigrants and refugees in Portuguese training to an interview. Thus, it is intended to answer the research question “What are the representations of immigrants and refugees, regarding the challenges and potential of education in Portuguese as a Host Language, in a non-formal context?”. The results gave us clues for structuring the teaching of Portuguese as a host language for immigrants and refugees i) through a holistic approach that favors the interaction and participation of learners in social practices and in different learning contexts; ii) that takes into account the psychosocial and psycholinguistic contexts resulting from the migratory situation, such as representations, motivations and attitudes towards the Portuguese language; and, still, iii) that favors the linguistic and cultural diversity present in the learning groups, through multicultural and plurilingual teaching. key-words: education in portuguese; host language; immigrants; refugees; non-formal context.en
