Resumo
Este trabalho enquadra-se numa abordagem compreensiva relativa ao início da sexualidade em adolescentes e jovens portadores de VIH.
Tem-se como objetivo aprofundar conhecimentos no que respeita a esta realidade, descortinar obstáculos, conhecer formatos de actuação, pareceres, opções e soluções de mudança em prol da prevenção da infeção e reinfeção do vírus.
Podemos considerar, actualmente, que a sociedade se tornou mais tolerante. Assim, considerando as margens de tolerância, identificamos que foram incluídas as vivências da sexualidade dos adolescentes na perspetiva de alguns adultos, ainda que não a identifiquem de uma forma plenamente positiva e não a incentivem (especialmente a sexualidade nas raparigas).
Se, por um lado, uma parte dos adultos reconhecem que a vivência sexual dos jovens é algo de inevitável e positivo para o seu desenvolvimento posterior, outra parte continua a olhar os comportamentos sexuais dos adolescentes, sobretudo das raparigas, como um perigo, uma nova desordem amorosa que deve ser controlada.
Os adultos encontram-se num misto de confusão e de impotência face às transformações que se operam nos comportamentos sexuais dos jovens nas últimas décadas.
As questões referentes ao comportamento sexual são complexas porque muitas vezes o individuo compreende a situação, porem, não consegue interiorizar ou colocar em prática o que a ciência comprova, com vista à promoção da saúde.
Relacionado com estes comportamentos de risco surge o vírus de VIH, que é associado a más práticas sexuais, a uma sexualidade anormal ou um padrão de conduta capaz de colocar em risco o bem-estar social.
This study fits a comprehensive approach regarding the beginning of sexuality on adolescents and young teenagers with HIV. The objective of it is to deepen the knowledge about this reality in order to uncover obstacles, ways of action, opinions, options and solutions of adjustment on behalf of the virus infection and reinfection prevention. Nowadays, we consider that society has become more tolerant with the subject. Hence and considering this tolerance range, we identify an understanding in some adult’s perspective about these teenagers’ sexuality experiences, even though it isn’t identified in a fully positive way and also it isn’t encouraged (especially in girl’s sexuality). If on one hand some adults recognize that teenagers sexual experiences are something inevitable and positive for their further development, on the other hand some look at this behavior as something dangerous or some kind of loving disorder that must be controlled, especially on girls. Adults find themselves in a mix of confusion and powerlessness regarding the transformations happening on teenagers sexual behaviors in the past decades. The questions associated to the sexual behavior of teenagers are complex because even if someone understands the situation, usually he or she can’t internalize or put into practice what science proves, in order to further health support. Related with these risk behaviors appears the HIV virus, which is associated with bad sexual standards, an abnormal sexuality or a conduct standard capable of put in risk the social well-being.
