Agressividade e traços de psicopatia em estudantes universitários

Com o objetivo de estudar a relação entre a agressividade e os traços de
psicopatia foi efetuado um estudo onde participaram 170 indivíduos de ambos os sexos,
com idades compreendidas entre os 17 e os 45 anos (M = 24.21; DP =6.58). Como
instrumentos foram utilizados um questionário socio demográfico, o questionário de
Agressividade de Buss & Perry e o Inventário de Traços Psicopáticos, de Andershed et
al. Os resultados mostraram algumas diferenças significativas entre os sexos, quer na
agressividade quer nos traços de psicopatia, com os participantes do sexo masculino a
obterem resultados superiores nos traços de psicopatia e inferiores na agressividade. Por
outro lado, a situação familiar dos pais e o nível de habilitações dos participantes apenas
apresentaram diferenças significativas em algumas dimensões. Por último, pudemos
constatar uma elevada relação entre as dimensões da agressividade e os traços de
psicopatia. Os resultados deste estudo foram analisados de acordo com a literatura.
In order to study the relationship between aggression and psychopathy traits was conducted a study in which 170 participants of both sexesaged between 17 and 45 years (M = 24.21, SD = 6.58) participated. The results showed some significant differences between sexes, both in aggressiveness and psychopathy traits, with male participants to achieve superior results in traits of psychopathy and lower aggressiveness. On the other hand, the family situation of parents and the education level of the participants only showed significant differences in some dimensions. Finally, we found a high relationship between the dimensions of aggression and the traits of psychopathy. The results of this study were analyzed according to the literature.
