dc.description.abstractA presente dissertação integra um conjunto de conceitos, organizada de modo a permitir atingir uma ideia compreensível entre a realidade e a possibilidade utópica, ou seja, abraça a realidade, ao mesmo tempo que integra a imaginação. A premissa essencial nesta investigação defende, que na ausência da realidade, há imaginação. Para melhor compreender esta abordagem, procuramos ao longo da investigação entender o território da zona ribeirinha de Alcochete e estudar uma solução que permita um novo olhar e uma nova vida. O estudo de caso real incide sobre o concelho de Alcochete conhecido como património natural em contexto ribeirinho na margem sul do Tejo. Toda a zona pertence à Área Metropolitana de Lisboa, com ligação ao Estuário do Tejo e à capital através da ponte Vasco da Gama. O local apresenta características mistas entre o rural e o urbano, entre o natural e o construído. Atualmente, apresenta-se um dos maiores desafios dos últimos tempos para a humanidade – as Alterações Climáticas. Estas alterações têm várias explicitações já conhecidas como o aumento ou descida das águas . Propomos perspetivar cenários para o impacte da subida da água face a frente ribeirinha do município de Alcochete e elaborar uma estratégia que estimule uma visão imaginativa do lugar. Com base em fatores reais, do passado e do presente, esta investigação de mestrado quer dar uma resposta a um futuro. Um futuro utópico, que capte todas as virtudes do lugar analisadas, pois acredita-se que a utopia é algo do imaginário, podendo ser conceptual. Pensamos que pode dar uma resposta analógica ou até material para o futuro. E, como a dissertação é um culminar de todos os conceitos, destacamos a distopia e a utopia como sinónimos de formas a justificar o novo objeto intencional desenhado, encorajando um modelo contemporâneo de apropriação do território, talvez uma ustopiapt
dc.description.abstractThis dissertation integrates a set of concepts, organized such a way as to achieve a in order to reach an understandable idea between reality and a utopian possibility. That is, it embraces the component of reality and imagination. The main premise of this investigation argues that in the absence of reality, there is no imagination. To better understand this approach, I seek throughout the research, to understand the territory of the riverside area of Alcochete and to study a solution that allows a new perspective and a new life. The case study focuses on the municipality of Alcochete, a waterfront on the south Tagus, belonging to the Lisbon Metropolitan Area and connected to the Tagus estuary and the capital through the Vasco da Gama. It is known as a natural heritage site. Unfortunately, it faces one of the biggest challenges the world is encountering today - Climate Change, in the context of rising average water levels, or even decreasing levels. We porpose of this global consequence that is taking place at this moment in time is to envisage scenarios for the impact of the water rise on the waterfront of the municipality of Alcochete and to devise a strategy that stimulates an imaginative vision of the place. Based on real factors, past and present factors this dissertation study provides different solutions for the future. A utopian future in our case, that could capture all the virtues of the analyzed location. It is believed that utopia is something of the imaginary, conceptual, that can respond to the future, ecologically thought of after the climatic consequences by dystopia of the scenario of rising water levels. Furthermore, since the dissertation is a culmination of all concepts, dystopia and utopia stand out as synonyms in order to justify the new intentional object designed, encouraging a contemporary model of territory appropriation.en
