Resumo
Em resposta ao repto antes enunciado e pensando no caso concreto
dos museus, a problemática a esclarecer neste estudo prende-se com a
questão de saber como romper com o modelo instituído de
avaliação, manifestamente desadequado para captar a
complexidade de estratégias, evidências, resultados e visões que
informam a realidade museológica contemporânea nas suas
múltiplas vocações e missões.
The problems to clarify in this study are based on the question of knowing how to break with the instituted model of evaluation, which is manifestly inadequate for captivating the complexity of strategies, evidences, results and visions that inform the contemporary museological reality in its multiple vocations and missions. It is equally breaking with the communicational ghetto that is fueled by the preconceived notion that museums and the dynamics of the museological processes have nothing to do with the language and objectives of quality management (subject associated to companies and the industry) and that the museums, as organizations, are so especially sui generis that they are enough on their own. For these questions of quality and performance only other museums can understand and evaluate them.
