As aulas de artes visuais, o desenvolvimento individual e social do aluno e a construção de uma escola de valores

Resumo
A temática relacionada com valores humanos e questões de cidadania é
incontornável no plano educativo. Neste sentido, foram dinamizadas estratégias teóricopráticas
que fundamentaram a importância das artes visuais na construção de uma Escola
(sociedade) de valores.
Como resposta a uma problemática de desenvolvimento individual e social dos alunos nos
domínios do saber (saber e saber fazer) e estar (ser e viver juntos), os alunos foram
estimulados para uma consciencialização ao nível da expressividade nos domínios da
disciplina de Educação Visual, por meio da realização de uma banda desenhada e ao nível
atitudinal. Concebemos e incrementámos um projeto de investigação-ação (participativa), de
natureza qualitativa, integrado na prática de ensino supervisionada com alunos do 8.º ano de
escolaridade do Ensino Básico.
Os resultados da investigação-ação foram bastante positivos quanto à sensibilização temática
de valores de respeito mútuo e de solidariedade no âmbito vivêncial e atitudinal assim como
no âmbito reflexivo, criativo e interpretativo. Registámos o envolvimento empático dos
alunos relativo à temática dos valores propostos, e ficaram expressas, em trabalhos
executados em banda desenhada, os conceitos de igualdade e inclusão, de democracia e de
justiça social. A sensibilização efetuada no sentido do respeito mútuo e na solidariedade gerou
um ambiente agradável nas aulas de Educação Visual influenciando as aprendizagens dos
alunos e o bom resultado final. O projeto implementado realçou, igualmente, as
potencialidades no âmbito da articulação de conteúdos e do desenvolvimento das
competências gerais e específicas da disciplina de Educação Visual, na articulação
interdisciplinar e nas promissoras articulações dentro e fora do espaço escolar.
The thematic related to human values and citizenship issues is unavoidable in education context. In this sense, theoretical-practical strategies were invigorated that supported the importance of the visual arts in the construction of a School (society) of values. In order to respond to students social and individual development problematic in the domains of knowledge (to know and to do) and being (to be and to live together) in visual arts classes, the students were stimulated to an awareness in expressive level in the domains of the Visual Education discipline, through the accomplishment of a comic strip and at the attitudinal level. We have increased and conceived a action-research project (participative), of qualitative nature, integrated on supervised teaching practice on 8th year students of Basic Education schooling. The action-research results were quite positive about the thematic awareness of values of mutual respect and solidarity in the living and attitudinal scope as well as in the reflective, creative and interpretive scopes. We noticed the students empathic involvement in the proposed values, the concepts of equality and inclusion, democracy and social justice were expressed in works carried out in comic strips. Raising awareness of mutual respect and solidarity created in Visual Education class a pleasant atmosphere, influencing a good final result and the learning process of the students. The project also highlighted the potential in the articulation of contents and the development of the general and specific competences of the Visual Education discipline, in the interdisciplinary articulation and in the promising articulations in inner and outer school space.
