O trabalho das organizações da sociedade civil portuguesa na reinserção social da pessoa em reclusão : um estudo exploratório

Abstract

O objeto de estudo da presente investigação é o trabalho dos projetos implementados por Instituições integrantes da Rede Entregrades, nos estabelecimentos prisionais em Portugal. Este estudo tem como objetivos, face aos projetos constituintes da amostra: 1) realizar uma breve caracterização dos mesmos; 2) conhecer as suas perceções relativamente às repercussões da intervenção realizada; 3) identificar as suas principais dificuldades. Partiu-se da análise documental da informação divulgada nos sites institucionais. O corpus de análise encontrado não permitia igual solidez e informação, o que conduziu à realização de entrevistas semiestruturadas. Os impactos das políticas neoliberais evidenciam a desresponsabilização do Estado; o trabalho de promoção e acompanhamento na reinserção fica a cargo da sociedade civil e das suas organizações, através de projetos financiados e do forte apoio do trabalho voluntário e, portanto, desprofissionalizado.

The subject of the present investigation is the work carried out by projects implemented by institutions belonging to theRede Entregrades, within Portuguese prison establishments. This study aims to: 1) provide a concise characterization of these projects; 2) understand their perceptions regarding the impacts of the interventions conducted; 3) identify their main challenges.The analysis began with a review of the information available on institutional websites. However, the analysis of the available data did not yield consistent results, prompting the need for semi-structured interviews.The effects of neoliberal policies underscore the state's relinquishment of responsibility; the task of promoting and supporting reintegration falls upon civil society and its organizations, facilitated through funded projects and substantial reliance on volunteer work, thus resulting in deprofessionalization.
