A tradução literária entre o português europeu e o português brasileiro: relação entre língua e cultura

Resumo
Este trabalho visa analisar a possibilidade de tradução entre a língua portuguesa europeia e a brasileira.
Tendo em vista que a tradução acontece quando as línguas nela envolvidas são consideradas
diferentes, apresentamos uma breve análise das diferenças sintáticas da língua portuguesa europeia
e brasileira no intuito de mostrarmos a relevância do trabalho tradutório envolvendo as duas. Considerando
a intrínseca relação entre língua e cultura, mostramos brevemente a evolução da língua
portuguesa a fim de apontar para as diferenças culturais e suas implicações no idioma. Como corpus,
utilizamos o livro português Os cus de Judas (2003) com o qual exemplificamos as diferenças
analisadas e para o qual, por fim, apresentamos uma proposta de tradução.
This paper aims to analyze the translation possibility between the European Portuguese language and the Brazilian one. Considering that the translation occurs when the languages involved there are considered to be different, we show a brief analysis of the syntactic differences of the Portuguese language aiming to point out the relevance of the translation work involving the European and the Brazilian Portuguese language. Taking the intrinsic relation between language and culture into account, we briefly show the evolution of the Portuguese language in order to indicate the cultural differences and their implications for the language. As a corpus we used the Portuguese book Os cus de Judas (2003) with which we exemplify the analyzed differences and to which, finally, we show a translation proposal.
