O discurso de Bolsonaro sobre as mulheres : uma análise comparativa das revistas Veja e Visão

Resumo
Jair Messias Bolsonaro foi eleito 38.º Presidente do Brasil nas
presidenciais brasileiras de 2018. Dividiu as opiniões dos brasileiros:
uns acreditavam num Brasil melhor fora do comando do PT - Partido dos Trabalhadores e tinham a esperança que Bolsonaro pudesse fazêlo;
outros acreditavam que qualquer pessoa com um discurso
misógino, sexista, machista e antifeminista não poderia ocupar um cargo tão importante. As controversas declarações de Bolsonaro despertaram a atenção dos media de todo o mundo. Este estudo será
diretamente focado na análise de peças jornalísticas em que o
Presidente do Brasil profere algum discurso relacionado com as
mulheres e/ou o feminino, publicadas em 2019, primeiro ano de
mandato de Bolsonaro, nas revistas de informação geral (newsmagazines) com maior circulação no Brasil e em Portugal, a Veja
e a Visão. A metodologia utilizada baseia-se na análise crítica do
discurso, que se operacionaliza numa grelha de análise elaborada pela
autora que assenta em dois pilares: o primeiro centrado nos eixos de
mediatização e o segundo nas categorias temáticas.
Jair Messias Bolsonaro was elected the 38th President of Brazil in the brazilian elections of 2018. He divided the opinions of Brazilians, some believed in a better Brazil outside the command of the Workers´ Party and had hope that Bolsonaro could do it, others believed that anyone with a misogynist, sexist, machist and anti-feminist discourse could not occupy such an important position. These diverse statements by Bolsonaro have caught the attention of the media around the world, this study will be directly focused on the analysis of journalistic pieces in which the President of Brazil gives some speech related to women and/or the feminine, published in 2019, Bolsonaro's first year in office, in newsmagazines with the greatest circulation in Brazil and Portugal, Veja and Visão. The methodology used is based on discourse analysis that is operationalized in an analysis grid elaborated by the author, which is based on two pillars: the first centered on the media coverage and the second on the thematic categories.
