Esta investigação tem como objetivo estudar e compreender a relação que existe entre a
reestruturação familiar, com as práticas parentais e o papel do padrasto, podendo estes fatores serem
ou não impulsionadores da delinquência juvenil. Participaram no estudo 100 pessoas, constituidas por
50 homens e 50 mulheres, os quais estão em situação de reestruturação familiar, sendo conceitos como
padrasto e enteado banais no seu seio familiar. A amostra foi recolhida através da Direcção Geral de
Reinserção Social e Serviços Prisionais de Vila Franca de Xira através de uma convocatória
disponibilizada pelos serviços, na qual encontrava-se explicitamente o consentimento informado,
clarificando que a participação seria meramente voluntária e confidencial. Os pré-requisitos da
amostra foram apenas pertencerem a uma familia reestruturada com filhos na idade da adolescência.
O protocolo de investigação foi constituído por um questionário sociodemográfico, o
questionário da coparentalidade QC (Margolin et al., 2001),versão portuguesa adaptada por Marta
Pedro & M. Teresa Ribeiro, 2008; e o Questionário de Dimensões e Estilos Parentais (Robinson,
Mandleco, Olsen e Hart,1995), que avalia os estilos educativos dos pais Segundo a tipologia de
Baumrind, versão portuguesa adaptada por Elsa Carapito, Marta Pedro & M. Teresa Ribeiro, 2007.
Nesta Investigação os dados revelam que se está perante um amostra de estilo parental
autoritativo e considera-se que os dados possam estar sob influência de a amostra ter sido recolhida em
contexto da Direcção Geral de Reinserção Social e Serviços Prisionais.
This research aims to study and understand the relationship between family restructuring, with parenting and the role of stepfather. Participants in the study were 100 people, composed by 50 men and 50 women, who are familiar restructuring situation, and concepts such as stepfather and stepson banal in their family environment. The sample was collected by the General Directorate of Social Rehabilitation and Prison Services of Vila Franca de Xira through a notice provided by the services, which explicitly found themselves informed consent, clarifying that participation was purely voluntary and confidential. The prerequisites of the sample were only belong to a family with children restructured in adolescence age. The research protocol consisted of a sociodemographic questionnaire, the questionnaire of co-parenting QC (Margolin et al., 2001), Portuguese version adapted by Marta Pedro & M. Teresa Ribeiro, 2008; and Dimensions Questionnaire and Parenting Styles, which assesses the educational styles of parents (Robinson, Mandleco, Olsen e Hart,1995), according to the typology of Baumrind, Portuguese version adapted by Elsa Carapito, Marta Pedro & M.
