Resumo
O objetivo deste estudo foi identificar quais estilos de liderança (transacional, transformacional e laissez-faire) predominam nos discentes de Administração, Ciências Contábeis e Ciências Econômicas e comparar as habilidades e competências estabelecidas no Projeto Pedagógico de Curso (PPC) com os estilos de liderança que são desenvolvidos. Este estudo é de natureza quantitativa, exploratória e descritiva, foi realizado com 635 discentes de uma instituição pública de ensino superior. Para a coleta de dados, utilizou o questionário MLQ-Form-5X. Utilizaram-se análises estatísticas descritivas e de variância pelo software SPSS 20. Para os discentes de Administração destacou-se a liderança transformacional, em que o líder inspira e estimula a equipe. Os de Ciências Contábeis apresentaram as características que indicam o líder que estabelece metas e sistemas de recompensas mediante o alcance dos resultados (liderança transacional). Os de Ciências Econômicas apresentaram as características predominantes da liderança transacional e laissez-faire, esta, sendo passiva e ausente.
The objective of this study was to identify which leadership styles (transactional, transformational and laissez-faire) predominate in the Administration, Accounting Sciences and Economic Sciences students and compare the skills and competencies established in the Pedagogical Project of the Course (PPC) with the leadership styles that are developed. This is a quantitative, exploratory and descriptive nature study carried out with 635 students from a public institution of higher education. For the data collection, it was used the MLQ-Form-5X questionnaire. Descriptive and variance statistical analyzes were used by the software SPSS 20. For the Administration students highlighted the transformational leadership, in which the leader inspires and stimulates the team. The Accounting Sciences students presented the characteristics that indicate the leader who establishes goals and rewards systems by achieving results (transactional leadership). Those from Economic Sciences presented the predominant characteristics of the transactional and laissez-faire leadership, this, being passive and absent.
