O Conselho Pedagógico: atuação face ao insucesso escolar e às dificuldades de aprendizagem dos alunos

Resumo
Por razões profissionais, o interesse pela investigação na área da Educação e da Escola é um desafio constante. Por isso, o trabalho de investigação que nos propomos realizar insere-se na área da administração e gestão escolar. O nosso estudo incidirá no conselho pedagógico enquanto órgão de administração e gestão especialmente responsável pela orientação pedagógica.
Delimitar-se-á o estudo à atuação do conselho pedagógico analisando as práticas e dinâmicas existentes nos últimos três anos dos agrupamentos agora agregados.
Assim, a seguir a uma breve introdução na qual se explicitará a problemática a abordar, no Capítulo I, far-se-á o enquadramento do estudo e a respetiva fundamentação teórica, salientando a relevância atual de algumas das principais teorias sobre organização escolar, as suas caraterísticas e os desafios que se lhe colocam enquanto instituição pública.
No capítulo II, dedicado à metodologia – que consiste no estudo de três casos – far-se-á a fundamentação empírica que nos levará à problemática e às hipóteses iniciais.
Por fim, no capítulo III, apresentaremos aquilo que julgamos serem os contributos da investigação para o conhecimento mais profundo desta problemática e onde também se avaliará e em que aspetos os contributos da investigação para a comunidade académica e avaliará se e em que aspetos as questões teóricas da investigação e os objetivos são ou não confirmados.
For professional reasons the interest in research in Education and the School system is a constant challenge. Therefore, the research work, that we intent to carry out, falls within the area of school administration and management. Our study will focus on the pedagogical board as the specific responsible body of school administration and management for the pedagogical orientation. We will limit the study of the performance of the pedagogical council, analyzing the existing practices and dynamics for the last three years of the recently aggregated school clusters. Thus, following a brief introduction in which we will explain the issues to be addressed, in Chapter I, we will explain the framework of the study and the respective theoretical foundation, emphasizing the current relevance of some of the main theories on school organization, its characteristics and challenges facing it as a public institution. In Chapter II, devoted to the methodology - which is the study of three cases – we will make the empirical reasoning that will lead to the problematic and initial hypotheses. Finally, in Chapter III, we will present what we believe are the contributions of this research to a deeper understanding of this issue and we will also assess, where and in what respects, the contributions of the research to the academic community and will assess as well whether and in what ways the research theoretical issues and goals are confirmed or not.
