As Tecnologias de Informação e Comunicação vieram introduzir a necessidade de novas aquisições e constantes atualizações na profissão de professor. Em consequência da evolução e do grande avanço tecnológico e científico, o sistema educativo teve a necessidade de alterar a sua estrutura, para poder integrar as novas Tecnologias de Informação e Comunicação, vindo estas a assumir um papel relevante na vida escolar dos alunos e dos professores.
Em linha com esta realidade, coloca-se-nos a questão: que formação contínua necessita o professor de Educação Visual para utilizar as novas tecnologias de modo a facilitar o processo de ensino aprendizagem nas Artes Visuais? Felizardo (2012)
salienta que é através dos colegas numa atitude de colaboração, investigação, de reflexão e de investigação-ação, que os professores se podem formar e habilitar na formação das TIC.
Conscientes desta necessidade, apresentamos um projeto de formação contínua que tem como campo de análise, a formação de professores centrada nas suas práticas pedagógicas, através da colaboração e reflexão sobre a ação, de modo a dotar os professores de competências a nível das Tecnologias de Informação e Comunicação,
designadamente, no que se refere à exploração e produção de conteúdos e atividades interativas no ensino e aprendizagem. Pretende-se alcançar estes objetivos através da
implementação de uma oficina de formação, por forma a que os professores adquiram conhecimentos e utilizem meios tecnológicos de apoio à aprendizagem dos seus alunos e reflitam sobre ação na integração das TIC na área disciplinar da Educação Visual.
Os professores inquiridos revelaram grandes expectativas em relação ao trabalho e às competências que podem vir a obter com a realização desta oficina de formação, tendo manifestado grande interesse e disponibilidade para participar nesta formação nas TIC com incidência nos conteúdos específicos da Edução Visual.
The Information and Communication Technologies introduced the necessity of new acquisitions and constant updates in the teacher’s work. As a consequence of the evolution and the great technological and scientific advance, the education system needed to be altered in its structure so that the new information and communication technologies could be integrated in it, for this reason these new technologies play now an important role in the school life both for students and teachers. According to this reality, we can ask: which continuing formation does an art's teacher need so that he is able to use the new technologies in order to turn the process of Visual Arts? Felizardo (2012) points that it’s among the co-workers with an attitude of cooperation, search, reflection and investigation-action that the teachers can be qualified in the new information and Communication Technologies. Aware of this necessity, we present a project of continuing formation which analyses the formation of teachers centered in their teaching experience, through cooperation and reflection on the action, to provide the teachers with competences about the information and communication technologies, namely, in what concerns the exploration and production of contents and interactive activities for teaching and learning. We intend to reach these aims by implementing a formation workshop where the teachers could get the necessary knowledge and use the technological means to support the process of learning of their students and think about the integration of the information technologies in the school subject of Art. The inquired teachers revealed great hope about the work and competences they could get with this formation workshop and they showed great interest and availability to take part in this course of the new technologies specially centered in the contents of the school subject of Visual Arts.
