As lideranças,
A good leader should be the organization's example, being responsible for managing employees and making decisions. The leader has no power to motivate anyone by himself, because motivation is personal and it depends on each individual, but the leader can captivate and influence employees for motivation and must be prepared to stimulate them at work and also to influence their behavior. Motivation is very important because it is through it that employees feel happy at work and be more productive. So, this paper presents the importance of leadership as a motivational factor in organizations. To obtain the results, a structured questionnaire was made available to the employees of ISLA Gaia. The questionnaire was made available online between May 15, 2017 and June 30 of the current year and contained 25 questions, including sociodemographic data and questions about the themes under study - leadership and motivation. Of the total, 22 questionnaires were answered. From the results collected, it can be seen that most employees answered that leadership influences their motivations, since 86% agree, but 9% of the employees do not agree that leadership influences their motivations and 5% of employees think it is indifferent.
