Tipos de felicidade, expetativas de vida e funcionamento positivo em jovens adultos universitários

O presente estudo teve como objetivo estudar as diferentes relações, a partir de
três tipos de felicidade, respetivamente: o bem-estar subjetivo ou cognitivo, a felicidade
hedónica e a felicidade eudaimónica. O estudo foi elaborado a partir de uma amostra de
119 estudantes universitários Para a avaliação do bem-estar subjetivo foi utilizada a
Escala para a Satisfação com a Vida, que avaliou a satisfação de vida no último mês. A
felicidade hedónica foi avaliada através da Escala Positiva e Negativa, onde foram
medidas as emoções e sentimentos. Por último, a felicidade eudaimónica foi avaliada
pela Escala de Florescimento, relacionado com aspetos de funcionamento humano
positivos, como as relações positivas. Os resultados obtidos vieram corroborar alguns
estudos realizados nesta área, onde foi verificado que o funcionamento positivo nos
jovens adultos universitários era explicado de forma significativa e positiva pela
felicidade hedónica e pela satisfação com a vida e de forma significativa e negativa pelo
pessimismo. Estes resultados realçam a importância que existe na interação entre os três
tipos de felicidade.
The present study aimed to study the different relationships according to the three types of happiness, respectively: subjective or cognitive well-being, hedonic happiness and eudemonic happiness. The study was elaborate based on a sample of 119 university students. For the evaluation of subjective well-being, the Life Satisfaction Scale was used, which evaluated life satisfaction in the last month. Hedonic happiness was assessed through the Positive and Negative Scale, where emotions and feelings were measured. Finally, eudemonic happiness was evaluated by the Flowering Scale, related to positive aspects of human functioning, such as positive relationships. The results obtained corroborate other studies carried out in this area, where it was verified that the positive functioning in young university students was explained in a significant and positive way by hedonic happiness and satisfaction with life and in a significant and negative way by pessimism. These results highlight the importance that exists in the interaction between the three types of happiness.
