Supervisor pedagógico : concepções e práticas de um perfil transformador

A revolução industrial trouxe significativas mudanças sociais para o Brasil, notadamente na
educação, visando o acúmulo e centralização do capital. Nessa transição, se fazia necessário,
um profissional que atendesse as demandas pedagógicas. Nesse contexto, surge o supervisor,
nos moldes do inspetor da indústria, trazido dos Estados Unidos, que estabelecia políticas de
alianças com o Brasil. Esses supervisores, sem histórico acadêmico e profissional, que os
direcionassem, trabalharam no controle das normas estabelecidas pelo governo, como
controlador e fiscalizador do ensino. Nesse posicionamento, baseado em factos históricos e
em autores como Ferreira (2007, 2009) e Vasconcellos (2009), o estudo analisa as concepções
e as práticas dos supervisores das escolas da Rede Municipal do Moreno – Pernambuco, na
perspectiva de um perfil transformador. A metodologia utilizada consistiu em uma pesquisa
exploratória, onde a coleta de informações contou com aplicação de um questionário. As
respostas foram categorizadas, a partir da análise qualitativa e quantitativa dos dados. Dessa
forma, os resultados apontam um novo direcionamento profissional do supervisor, que segue
um percurso transformador. Essas mudanças na trajetória do supervisor fortalecem o ensino.
The industrial revolution brought significant social changes in Brazil, notably in education, aiming at the accumulation and centralization of capital. In this transition, it was necessary a professional that meets the educational demands. In this context, the supervisor arises, along the lines of the inspector of the industry, brought from the United States, establishing political alliance with Brazil. These supervisors, without academic record and professional to give them a direction, worked in the control of standards set by the government as a controller and supervisory education. In this position, based on historical facts and authors such as Ferreira (2007, 2009) and Vasconcellos (2009), the study analyzes the concepts and practices of supervisors of municipal schools in Moreno – Pernambuco, in the perspective of a transformer profile. The methodology consisted of an exploratory research, where information gathering was attended by application of a questionnaire. The responses were categorized, based on qualitative and quantitative analysis of the data. Thus, the results indicate a new professional guidance of the supervisor, which follows a route processor. These changes in the trajectory of the supervisor strengthen the teaching.
