Resumo
Esta dissertação tem como objetivo principal, uma reflexão sobre a requalificação da Praça da Batalha e área envolvente, a qual foi dividida em três partes, a primeira que teve como base uma reflexão acerca da evolução histórica da cidade do Porto, dando enfase á praça em estudo, uma segunda parte onde consta a análise da proposta de reabilitação para a zona alvo de estudo e uma terceira e última parte onde é proposta uma requalificação de um espaço público bem como a área histórica envolvente e ainda a proposta de projeto (Museu de Arte) para o Parque das Camélias, desenvolvido na cadeira de projeto.
Por fim são apresentadas as considerações finais do trabalho.
This dissertation has as main objective, the reflection on the requalification of Batalha square and surrounding area, which was divided in three parts, the first that was based on a reflection about the historical evolution of the city of Porto, giving emphasis to the square in study, a second part which includes the analysis of the rehabilitation proposal for the target area of study and the third and last part where a requalification of a public space is proposed as well as the surrounding historical area and also the project proposal (Museum of Art) to the Camélias Park, developed in the design chair. Finally, the final considerations of the work are presented.
