No contexto de uma investigação-ação efetuada na disciplina de Técnicas de Multimédia numa turma do 11ºano do curso profissional Técnico de Multimédia, pretende-se explorar a eficiência da união da Arte em Espaço Público com o ensino na sala de aula, tendo como vínculo a multimédia. A Arte em Espaço Público permite a democratização da obra artística, já que é alcançada por qualquer olhar que cruza o seu caminho. Esta manifestação é uma Arte acessível a toda a sociedade, disponível vinte e quatro horas por dia, sete dias por semana, valorizando o património da cidade intervencionada. Matosinhos é fértil em Arte Urbana, cidade onde este projeto teve a sua prática, e, aliado tanto à preocupação de enriquecer a cultura visual dos alunos de modo a valorizarem os artistas locais, como ao facto da Prática de Ensino Supervisionada ter ação na disciplina de Técnicas de Multimédia, surgiu o interesse de unir estes três pontos fundamentais: estabelecer um fluxo entre a Arte exterior e o ensino artístico convencional interior, com recurso aos meios digitais.
In the context of an action research carried out in the Multimedia Techniques discipline in a 11th year class of the Multimedia Technician professional course, the aim is to explore the efficiency of combining Art in Public Space with teaching in the classroom, having as a link the multimedia. Art in Public Space allows the democratization of artistic work, as it is achieved by any gaze that crosses its path. This manifestation is an Art accessible to all of society, available twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, which values the heritage of the city being intervened. Matosinhos is fertile in Urban Art, the city where this project took place, and, combined with both the concern to enrich the visual culture of students in order to value local artists and the fact that Supervised Teaching Practice operates in the discipline of Multimedia Techniques, creates an interest in uniting these three fundamental points: establishing a flow between external Art and internal conventional artistic teaching, with digital media resources.
