Resumo
A Sociedade contemporânea assenta sobre bases únicas, nunca experienciadas até
então. O incentivo ao consumo com vista sobre o lucro rápido, desconectou o Homem dos
verdadeiros valores do Design e da Arte. Assombrados pelo excesso de uma dimensão
comercial, pelo distanciamento dos valores humanos tornou-se iminente um recuo ao
passado histórico para compreender de modo contextualizado a importância dos conceitos
para a comunidade e vida humana hoje e sempre.
É urgente o levantamento teórico dos pensamentos e fundamentações mais
consistentes para motivar a Sociedade à compreensão, valorização e legitimação das
actividades da produção. Uma maior consciência sobre a Arte e o Design poderá despertar
para a ausência de escrúpulos, dos princípios menos honestos e para a rejeição dos
objectos mal resolvidos.
Desde sempre que a Arte e o Design se moveram através de um carácter
semelhante, pela inquietude, insatisfação social, e organizados por personalidades de
imaginação fértil e criatividade excepcional. E, se o designer muitas vezes se dirigiu à Arte,
vários artistas se têm dedicado ao projecto de objectos de uso, inter-relacionando
inegavelmente as actividades.
Arte e Design vivem de encontros e desencontros, e por isso a coexistência e
cooperação entre artistas e designers deve ser encarada naturalmente e motivada.
Contemporary modern Society settles on unique foundations never experienced by Man so far. The Consumer incentivized setting is sights only on fast earnings as disconnected Man from the true values of Art and Design. Haunted by the excesses of commercial gain, the distancing from human values as became eminent set back to an historical passed to understand in a contextualized matter the importance of the concepts to community and human living today and always. It urges to make a theoretical analysis of the thoughts and fundamentals that are consistent to urge Society to understand value and legitimize production activities. A bigger conscience on Art and Design may lead to absents of scrupulous, less than honest principles and to the rejection of unresolved issues on objects. Since the beginning that Art and Design have move through a similar path, through the restless, and social dissatisfaction, and organized by personalities of fertile imagination and exceptional creativity. And if the designer allot of the times, as directed himself to Art, many artists have committed to the projects of useful items, interconnecting the activities irrefutably. Art and Design live from encounters to (dis)encounters, and that is why their coexistence and cooperation between artist and designers must be faced as natural and logical.
